PUFFIN ISLAND IMPERIAL STOUT

Puffin Island (Oileán na gCánóg in Irish Gaelic) is an Irish Wildbird Conservancy reserve on a small island to the south of Valentia Island near Portmagee, County Kerry. Very small, it is 1.5km long and 700 meters wide, but rises up to 159 meters in altitude. The Iveragh Peninsula is separated from Puffin Island only by a thin 250-metre strait. It holds some thousands of pairs of Manx Shearwaters, Storm Petrels and Puffins and smaller numbers of other breeding seabirds.
